In the morning of December 8, 2021 at the Headquarters of AASC Auditing Firm in Hanoi, a delegation of the Department of Price Management, Ministry of Finance led by Mr. Dang Cong Khoi, Deputy Director of the Department, came to work with AASC on contents related to the replacement of the 2012 Price Law and current appraisal standards. With the position, reputation and experience of AASC Auditing Firm in the field of Valuation as well as Accounting, Auditing and Tax Consulting, Mr. Dang Cong Khoi proposed AASC Auditing Firm to contribute opinions on the following issues: policies related to the current Law on Pricing and matters that need to be supplemented and amended to enhance the role of the Vietnam Valuation Industry.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tung - General Director, Mr. Vu Xuan Bien - Deputy General Director, member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Valuation Association and valuation experts of AASC Auditing Firm have shared experiences as well as current problems in order to contribute to further perfecting mechanisms and policies on pricing, price management and as a basis for the development of the Appraisal Industry and transparency in valuation work.

The Department of Price Management has recognized the profound professional opinions, that the opinions of the experts are in line with the current trend as well as the development strategy of the Valuation Industry and the proposed amendments of the 2012 Law on Pricing. Opinions of AASC appraisers on regulations on granting price appraiser's cards, specialization in professional activities of price appraisers, supplementing regulations to clarify scope of activities of the appraiser, the conditions for the grant of a certificate of eligibility for business in the business of price appraisal services, the conditions for the establishment of a branch of the price appraisal enterprise, the database on price appraisal, etc. have been approved by the Department of Price Management who will consider to improve the legal framework to be more practical and effective. Mr. Dang Cong Khoi also congratulated the achievements and acknowledged AASC's contributions to the Valuation Industry and the Finance Industry over the past 30 years of development and growth and hopes that the Company will continue to cooperate and support the Department of Price management in finalizing legal documents related to the Law on Prices and Vietnam's valuation standards.
