Vietnamobile's parent company ventures into real estate and establishes a technology academy.

Hanoi Telecommunication Joint Stock Company - Hanoi Telecom has just held its 20th-anniversary ceremony (May 2, 2001 - May 2, 2021).

From a company established in May 2001 with only 15 employees, Hanoi Telecom now has a total of 9 member companies specializing in providing technology services and applications primarily for corporate clients.

Well-known products of Hanoi Telecom include Vietnamobile - the only telecommunications network with foreign investment in Vietnam, and the security company VNCS. It is also the corporation that owns ecoDC - the first Data Center in Vietnam to achieve two Uptime Tier 3 standards in both design and construction.

At the anniversary ceremony, Hanoi Telecom's leadership clearly outlined its future directions, tasks, and development strategies.

Accordingly, the company is pursuing the goal of developing IT products to diversify its product portfolio and improve service quality for customers.

Hanoi Telecom will continue to build international-standard Data Centers with a team of professional engineers and modern machinery to serve the domestic data market and expand to countries worldwide.

In addition to the IT services sector, Hanoi Telecom wants to turn logistics into a spearhead business. The company also expects to branch out into other market segments such as industrial real estate, high-rise hotels, resorts, and residential areas.

Furthermore, according to Hanoi Telecom's leaders, the unit will establish a training academy with the mission of leading the younger generation to be pioneers in technology.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Tam - Deputy Minister of Information and Communications, congratulated Hanoi Telecom on its new development orientations. According to Deputy Minister Phan Tam, on its new journey, Hanoi Telecom needs to focus on developing a qualified and enthusiastic workforce, while paying attention to the youth and the next generation of staff.

Sharing with the unit, Deputy Minister Phan Tam stated that Hanoi Telecom needs to enhance its competitiveness, improve labor productivity, and especially maintain and increase its brand value in the market.

According to Deputy Minister Phan Tam, multi-industry and multi-service development is a trend; however, Hanoi Telecom still needs to stick to its core services to further strengthen the Group's brand.
