(Mic.gov.vn) – Currently, numerous management software programs and applications have been deployed by state agencies for public use (e.g., VNeID, VssID, the Electronic Health Record, etc.). To address this, the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has introduced solutions to ensure consistency and synchronization, as well as to enhance interoperability among these digital platforms.
Specifically, the Ministry has issued and implemented the following documents: The Vietnam E-Government Architecture Framework, which helps define shared components at both central and local levels, as well as models for national-scale data connectivity and sharing;
Decision No. 186/QĐ-BTTTT dated February 11, 2022, by the Minister of Information and Communications, approving the program to promote the development and use of national digital platforms in support of digital transformation and the development of a digital government, digital economy, and digital society.

Additionally, the Ministry of Public Security has launched the National Population Database and the electronic identification and authentication system (VNeID). These systems offer significant convenience, as citizens no longer need to repeatedly declare personal information on paper forms and can use a single VNeID account to log in to various applications and services, eliminating the need to remember multiple different accounts.
Moving forward, the MIC will continue to implement solutions to foster the development of national-scale digital platforms based on shared usage and the avoidance of duplication. These efforts aim to enhance interoperability among applications and digital platforms, thereby advancing e-government and paving the way for a digital government.
