On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of AASC's establishment and the establishment of the Vietnam Independent Auditing Industry (May 13, 1991 - May 13, 2021), the Editorial Board would like to introduce to the Officers, Auditors, AASC members and readers the book "AASC - 30 years of history and memories" by author Nguyen Chi Tinh, written according to the content of AASC Auditing Firm Co., Ltd., through 30 years of rich and vibrant activities in Vietnam Independent Auditing industry.
In the economic - financial field of our country today, what are the roles, functions, tasks and benefits of Auditing and Consulting? Activities of the Auditing Industry, including independent audits, what are the notable characteristics of the auditor's life and work?
To partially answer those questions, we invite you to a specific audit unit: AASC Auditing Firm Co., Ltd., an independent auditing company that is "the leader in the system of auditing firms in Vietnam", through the book "AASC - 30 years of history and memory" by author Nguyen Chi Tinh, published by National Culture Publishing House in early May 2021.
Through more than 300 pages of the book, based on careful study of preserved documents, especially meetings to collect the memories of people who are interested in or related to the firm, the author has recorded the history of AASC, from its birth with "infancy", through different stages of development, mature steps, with achievements, until today holds the position of an independent auditing firm, Vietnam's leading establishment, "regarded as an example, a model in the Financial Industry".
On the other hand, attaching importance to the cultural background - people, the decisive factor for all success, the author has portrayed a specific image of a person in a multifaceted working life, with cultural qualities that have been cultivated for a long time, and on that basis, form the union and forces to overcome many difficulties and challenges, towards the future of accomplishing the aspirations of AASC development, develop the Auditing and Independent Auditing industry in the economy of the country.
In every field of activity, even the seemingly arid and harsh ones like auditing, people there, with diverse lives, inner strength, thoughts, concerns and aspirations, are still the center and have their own charisma.
