On November 21, 2024, in Hanoi, the 18th AASC Board of Members Congress was successfully held with the participation of 36 Members of the Council and four guests.
In his opening speech, the Chairman of the Board of Member Ngo Duc Doan acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements made by the Members of the Council, leaders at all levels, auditors, appraisers, technicians, and employees of AASC during fiscal year 17. The Chairman also praised and commended the departments, branches, and units for completing the targets set in the resolution of the 17th Congress of the Members’ Council and the company’s plan.
During the Congress, the Members discussed with high responsibility and contributed valuable opinions on the content of the documents presented at the Congress, including the fiscal year 17 summary report (01/10/2023 – 30/09/2024), the direction for fiscal year 18 (01/10/2024 – 30/09/2025), the Supervisory Board’s report for fiscal year 17 (01/10/2023 – 30/09/2024), and discussions on enhancing the quality and development direction of appraisal services, among others.
On behalf of the executive board, CEO Nguyen Thanh Tung delivered a speech acknowledging the achievements of fiscal year 17 with total revenue reaching 283.96 billion VND, a growth of 9.06% compared to fiscal year 16, achieving 8.8% of the revenue plan set by the Members’ Council. Units with revenue growth over 15% included Audit 3 (16%), Audit 5 (19%), Audit Department 6 (23%), Foreign Investment Audit 1 (18%), Valuation Department (49%), and Project Audit (16%). Units with revenue over 20 billion VND included the HCM Branch, Audit Department 7, Audit Department 1, Audit Department 2, Audit Department 5, and Audit Department 7.
The delegates engaged in lively and responsible discussions, analyzing the causes and solutions to implement the 18th Board of Members resolution. They also supported the movement towards the 80th anniversary of Vietnam’s finance sector (28/08/1945 – 28/08/2025), the 35th anniversary of the company’s founding (13/05/1991 – 13/05/2026), and the 20th anniversary of AASC's transition from a state-owned enterprise to a limited liability company with more than two members (02/07/2007 – 02/07/2027).
The Congress concluded with a passionate speech from Chairman Ngo Duc Doan, who called for unity and decisive action from the Board of Members, Company leadership, and the AASC workforce. He expressed confidence that the Board of Members would successfully lead and implement the resolutions of the 18th Congress.
